Where have I been? Making you a new performance piece, that's where!!!
Reserve your pay-what-you-want ticket to It's For You before they're all gone!
On September 25 my new interactive performance piece, It’s For You, opens! It’s For You is an approximately hour long one-on-one phone conversation with me so it is PERFECT for those of you who are tired of being perceived on Zoom. And it’s pay-what-you-want!
There are (as of me writing this) only EIGHT TICKETS LEFT so if you’re interested, go reserve a spot asap!
I play myself, you play yourself, and together we'll talk about our environments, our feelings, and some poetry I just can't get out of my head. We'll also create a new poem together.
I like to say it feels someone handing you the landline phone ("it's for you!") when unexpected phone calls were still an exciting thing, or that third hour in your first overnight conversation with a new crush.
I hope to chat with you soon!
Consider donating to one or all of the following orgs, which focus on queer and trans youth and Black trans people. Please also look into your local Black Lives Matter chapter (here’s BLM in DC) and assist their mutual aid efforts through donations and showing up to support as needed. If you’re able I ask you to especially consider setting up a recurring donation, not just dropping some money once.
